OTTAWA – Jessica McDonald, Chair of the Board of Directors of Canada Post, is pleased with the appointment of Doug Ettinger as President and CEO of Canada Post. The announcement was made earlier today by the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Accessibility. His appointment is effective Monday, March 4, 2019.

Doug brings a wealth of experience and a strong focus on customer service to the role. For the last two and half years, Doug has served as Chief Commercial Officer for the Corporation, leading growth strategies for Parcels, Direct Marketing and Transaction Mail businesses. He has been responsible for all commercial functions, including Sales, Marketing, Retail, Digital, Business Development and Customer Service.

Prior to joining the company, Doug built a solid track record in the private sector, largely in the consumer packaged goods industry. He served on the leadership teams at several global brands, including Parmalat and Coca-Cola before leading two Atlantic-based corporations.
